Due to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases in Georgia, the number of people addressing to the Public Safety Command Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has grown.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, “112” has been actively involved in the coronavirus management process and is working in an emergency mode to ensure that every citizen receives timely and highly qualified services.

In “112”, up to 35% of non-targeted and informational calls are recorded within 24 hours, which hinders the working process.

Please demonstrate high civic responsibility and do not call “112” due to inappropriate cases.

“112” was divided into three channels for smooth connection in case of emergency:

• 112 – Emergency medical care

• 112 – 1 – Police/Fire Rescue Service

• 112 – 2 – Covid -19

In case of laboratory confirmation of the Covid-19 virus, a citizen can call 112-2 or register on the portal: www.er.moh.gov.ge.

Cases of Covid-19 confirmed by “112” will be referred to family doctors for further monitoring.

If you do not get contacted by your family doctor within 48 hours, you can call the hotline of the Central Online Clinic – 1522, and in case of private insurance, the hotline of your insurance company.
