Training of operators as dispatchers was conducted at the training center of the Human Resources Management Service of “112”. The aim of the training was to train 112 operators, to study the dispatch program for them in detail, and to develop the skills needed for this position. Trained operators, depending on the service needs, will be able to perform the functions and duties of both the operator and the dispatcher.
The main topics of the training were: getting acquainted with the functions and responsibilities of the dispatcher and understanding the importance; The main distinguishing issues between ambulance and patrol police dispatch; The importance of databases and the specifics of working in them; Study the specifics of using the map of Tbilisi and correctly determine the addresses on it; Peculiarities of teamwork, roles and communication; Techniques for effective communication management with neighboring services. In order to effectively use the knowledge gained in the training in practice, the so-called “112” in the center of Rustavi. A “simulation” room was set up, where an environment as close as possible to the work process was created for the training participants.
Trained operators are given the opportunity, under the supervision of trainers, to perform both emergency medical and patrol dispatching and to develop the skills required for a universal operator.
