The Secretary of the National Police Council of the Republic of Indonesia, Bekto Suprapto, together with the delegation paid his first working visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The guests were hosted by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Shalva Khutsishvili.

At the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs spoke in detail to the members of the Indonesian delegation about the ongoing and ongoing reforms in the Ministry, as well as the planned projects and innovations. Shalva Khutsishvili answered the questions of his Indonesian colleagues exhaustively. The guests positively assessed the reforms implemented in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and expressed their desire to introduce them in their own police system.

During the visit, the members of the delegation held meetings at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Patrol Police Department, the Research and Development Department, the Joint Operations Center, the Service Agency, “112” and got acquainted with the specifics of the work of Georgian law enforcement officers.

 The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the reforms implemented in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, both at the legislative and institutional levels.
