Every year on February 11, both Georgia and 81 countries of the world celebrate the day of emergency number – 112. On February 6-11 of the current year, Georgian “112” held various events.
During the week, more than 100 students of the Caucasus French School visited the 112 Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, got acquainted with the specifics of the work of the center and the operators. Representatives of “112” provided the guests with full information about the emergency number, which aims to provide emergency assistance to citizens throughout Georgia, 24 hours a day.
Adults were also provided with detailed information on: how and when to call 112; Which emergency service brigades can be called by calling 112. During the visit, the students learned from the representatives of the center what is the harm of making a false call to 112 and what are the sanctions in case of improper use of the number.
