Representatives of the Republic of Moldova’s emergency number 112 and the National Ambulance Center paid a working visit to the 112 Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The purpose of the visit was to study the specifics of the operation of the emergency assistance system operating in Georgia by the Moldovan side and to share the experience of the Emergency Management Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The director of “112” Giorgi Bichashvili showed the members of the delegation the centers of Tbilisi and Rustavi. The guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of the work of the department, the principles of coordinated work with the emergency services, the programmatic and technical aspects of the work of information technologies necessary for functioning, the processes of professional training. In addition, members of the delegation were given the opportunity to directly observe the process of managing incoming messages.

The parties agreed to deepen cooperation in the future and share experience in the process of introducing a unified emergency system.
