By initiative of LEPL “112” international conference was held. Conference aimed to share experience on large-scale emergency operational procedures. The conference was held within the frames of the instrument for Technical Cooperation and Information Exchange of the European Commission (TAIEX) under the initiative of 112 and with the support of European Commission.
Conference was attended by deputy head of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia – David Vardiashvili, heads of “112”, Patrol Police Department, Emergency Management Agency and Emergency Medical Center. International experts were invited on seminar from various countries, including Great Britain, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, Belgium and France.
With the status of honorable guests the conference will be attended by the deputy head of the operations section at the EU delegation to Georgia Stephen Stork and European Emergency Number Association President, Demetrios Piros. Experts shared experience with Georgian colleagues in the field of emergency situations management, including informing citizens on large scale emergency situation, call center management and collaboration.
