Senior Police Advisor of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) – Eric Siweck, Attache of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) – Heather Bergey and the representatives of the Regional Security Office of the US Embassy visited Public Safety Command Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

The director of 112 – Giorgi Arsoshvili discussed the main activities of the Public Safety Command Center with the representatives of the delegation.

The guests got acquainted with the specifics of the work of 112, in particular, the operational management of emergency assistance, video surveillance system ensuring road safety and electronic monitoring processes implemented for effective fight against domestic violence.

The Embassy of the United States of America has been successfully cooperating with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia for many years, in areas such as fight against cybercrime, domestic violence and trafficking, tactical training, juvenile crime prevention, road safety, etc.
