On the May 20-22, 2014, representatives of the MIA 112 Department arrested in Gothenburg, Sweden, to attend a conference hosted by the European Public Safety Forum (PSCE).
The main topics of such a conference were the coordination of neighboring agencies in the field of emergency management, the management of 112 resources and information involved in the information processing process, as well as crisis management modeling within the CRISMA project.
Representatives of “112” participating in the conference, in the form of a presentation, provided information on the operation of “112” in Georgia and the planned news.
The European Public Safety Forum was taken into account by the conference participants because the PSCE wanted to participate in a specific region, connecting with representatives of Europe and an international organization who worked and were most active.
During the visit, the representatives of “112” visited the city center of Gothenburg and got acquainted with the specifics of the unified emergency number.
European Public Safety Forum – PSCE is a functioning, independent organization, its public safety, improving management systems and ensuring safety in times of crisis or emergency.
Georgia “112” means an institutional member of the organization in 2013, which is necessary for the sharing of international databases in the field of emergency management.
