The 112 Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has introduced an evacuator assistance service in Tbilisi.
From now on, any citizen in Tbilisi has the opportunity to call 112 and use the help of evacuators.
The new service meets modern standards. The 112 has state-of-the-art equipment and facilities that enable efficient communication and rapid response. In order to maximize safety measures, a specially covered parking lot and a new concrete-covered protected area have been set aside to prevent damage to the vehicle from various natural disasters. Also, 24-hour surveillance cameras, protective fences and other infrastructure in the area prevent unauthorized access of third parties to the parking lot. Parking lots are located in Digomi, Balanchine Street and Varketili, Gakhokidze Street.
At the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and a government decree, a single, preferential fee for transportation to and from the parking lot was set, which is 50% less than the market rate. It should be noted that the cost of transportation distance starts from the announcement of the evacuator at the scene of the incident, to the last point of destination.
The introduction of an evacuation assistance service is also important for the timely and safe transfer of vehicles temporarily confiscated to a parking lot in cases of administrative violations and criminal law.
