In April, over 500 students from both public and private schools visited the Public Safety Command Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as part of the project “Increasing Awareness of the Emergency Number Among Adolescents.”

Representatives from “112” provided the students with important information regarding the proper use of the emergency number and essential road safety rules.

The students were educated on what constitutes an emergency, the correct number to dial in such situations, and how to effectively communicate with the “112” call takers.

Additionally, the adolescents were informed about the risks associated with making an unintended call and the sanctions that are provided for in case of a false call.
