More than 1,700 students from public and private schools visited the Public Safety Command Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within the framework of the project “Increasing Awareness of the Emergency Number Among Adolescents” in February-June.

During the visits, representatives of the “112” center provided students with comprehensive information regarding the proper use of the emergency number and fundamental road safety regulations.

Participants were informed about the definition of an emergency, the appropriate circumstances under which to contact emergency services, and the correct manner in which to communicate with a 112 call taker.

Furthermore, students were briefed on the risks associated with accidental or false emergency calls and were made aware of the legal consequences and administrative sanctions applicable in such cases.
