Deputy Director of Emergency Response Center of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia “112” – Maya Giorgadze hosted the Chargé d’Affaires – Elizabeth Rood at Tbilisi center of 112.
Meeting was also attended by the director of INL – Mike McMahon, Senior Policy Advisor at INL – Michael Turner and INL Program Coordinator – Tamar Shaverzashvili.
Within the frames of the visit, guests were informed about the emergency management and operation of 112. In addition, they were made familiar with the ongoing and planned projects. Representatives of 112 also talked about the specific features of call handling and processing.
Parties discussed mutually interesting issues and agreed to further deepen cooperation.
