The Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted the citizens in a safe city in the simulated safe city – “This is my city” – in Akhaltsikhe, in the vicinity of Rabat Fortress, on the public holiday dedicated to Shalva Akhaltsikhe Remembrance Day – within the framework of the traffic safety campaign – “For Your Sake, For Your Safety”.
Equipment, weapons and equipment belonging to different units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were presented in the simulated city. In addition to the exhibition, children and adults received many surprises:
The Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented the animated hero “Paul” at the event, who guided the guests of the safe city. Citizens who came to the virtual shooting range of the academy had the opportunity, with the help of an instructor, to adjust to the role of a police officer for a few minutes.
The Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has organized a cognitive-entertaining corner for children, where the staff of the agency conducted a fun theoretical and practical test for children aged 5 to 10 to obtain a bicycle driving license. The guests viewed the racing cars of the MIA Force Sports Club MIA Force and a photo exhibition presented by the Service Agency. Data Kajaia, the face of the traffic safety program of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Data Kajaia, the European champion in racing cars, talked to them about the traffic safety campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In the fun cognitive-entertainment corner of the Emergency Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the children had the opportunity to view the fire truck and ride on an inflatable skateboard. Their safety was taken care of by the fire-rescuers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The “112” Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented an innovative children’s project – “112 spacecraft”, where teenagers participated in computer games created especially for them using modern technologies.
The Security Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs welcomed the children with interesting adventure games, symbolic gifts and surprises in the exhibition corner of the Security Police. Security police presented special vehicles for collection and operative response on “Protected Street”, as well as ecological transport.
The patrol police placed the equipment of the patrol inspector and the transport of the patrol police: “Ford-Interceptor”, patrol pickups, motorcycles and “Segway” in the exhibition space.
The Border Police organized an exhibition of transport and equipment of the Land Border and Coast Guard Departments. Visitors had the opportunity to view Border Guard ATVs, Coast Guard diving equipment, boarding equipment, chemical and radiation detectors, individual flashlight, radiation identifier, night vision device, location system, photo trap and astronomical binoculars.
Special equipment and combat armor were placed in the exhibition space of the Special Assignments Department: “Cobra”, “Wolf”, “Defender”.
The borders of the simulated city were guarded by border police officers and specially trained dogs, while patrol inspectors took care of the safety and order of the guests.
