Up to 100 students from public and private schools visited the Public Safety Command Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within the framework of the project – “Increasing the awareness of the emergency number for adults”.
Students were introduced to the proper use of an emergency number and road safety rules.
The representative of “112” informed the juveniles about what an emergency situation means, what number they should call in such cases and how to cooperate with the call-taker. The students were also explained the risks of making a non-targeted call and the sanctions that are envisaged for a false call.
Public Safety Command Center “112” regularly conducts similar events with adults.
