On August 14, Davit Narmania, the Mayor of Tbilisi, visited the Emergency Management Center – 112. Giorgi Bichashvili, the director of 112, introduced the specifics of the center’s work to the mayor.
The main topics of the meeting between Davit Narmania and Giorgi Bichashvili in Tbilisi were the need to increase the number of ambulance crews and to improve the service on fire and rescue calls.
At the meeting, 112 representatives briefed David Narmania on the changes made at the center and future plans. The sides also discussed the issues of deepening future cooperation between the 112 Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the City Hall.
The guests visited the call center of 112 and observed the work process. David Narmania was also interested in the working conditions of the operators. Emphasis was placed on the importance of a single emergency number, noting that by calling one number, all emergency services can be contacted in the shortest possible time.
At the end of the meeting, the director of 112 handed over souvenirs to the guests.
