On February 9, 2015, 112 Public Relations Officers visited Mtskheta 2nd and Rustavi 11th Public Schools. Presentations were held for 7th and 8th grade students and the adolescents received full information about the specifics of the service work.

The students of the school found out in which case they should use the emergency number, which services can be called by calling 112 and what are the sanctions provided by law in case of making a false call.

The students completed thematic assignments together with the representatives of “112” and received answers to all the questions of interest to them. At the end of the meeting, the teenagers were given souvenirs from “112”. The event was held in connection with the International Day of “112”.

February 11 was declared the day of “112” in 2009. Georgia has had an emergency number for three years now, and various events dedicated to 112 Day are celebrated annually.
