Within the framework of the project “Increasing awareness of the emergency number among adolescents”, in 2024, more than 2000 students from public and private schools visited the Public Safety Command Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The representative of “112” introduced students to the rules of the correct use of the emergency number and road safety.
Students received information about what an emergency means, what number to call in such cases, and how to collaborate with the 112 operator.
They were also explained the dangers of making an untargeted call and the sanctions that are provided in case of making a false call.
