On February 11th, International 112 Day, Emergency Response Center “112” conducted award ceremony. Employees of 112 Georgia received Badge for Impeccable Service and Certificates of Gratitude.
Within the frames of this event, best shift, best call taker and the best dispatcher of 2018 were awarded. In addition, candidates were awarded certificates for successfully completing the 112 call taker special course.
February 11 was declared as 112 Day back in 2009 by the decision of European Council. Events dedicated to 112 Day are conducted throughout Europe on annual basis. The aim of the events is awareness raising about 112.
In 2019 112 Georgia declared Awareness Raising Week. Within the frames of the week 112 representatives conducted interactive lessons at schools and public lectures at the universities. At the end of the week three major shopping malls in Tbilisi hosted information campaigns about 112 mobile application.
