Emergency Response Center of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia – “112” hosted the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia – Dursun Hasanov. Within the frames of the visit, Ambassador was informed about the operation of 112, ongoing and planned projects, as well as specific features of call handling and processing.
The Ambassador expressed interest in the innovative services of 112, namely the mobile application, which determines the location and SMS and Video Call Service for deaf and hard-of-hearing citizens, which enables the hearing impaired person to independently report about the incident to 112.
Parties discussed the problem of large number of non-emergency calls and the information campaigns aimed at eliminating this issue, including the social campaign “Let’s Reduce Non-Emergency Calls”. Dursun Hasanov expressed willingness to participate in this campaign
