Emergency Response Center of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia – “112” hosted the US European Command and US Army Civil-Military Emergency Preparedness (CMEP) evaluation delegation.
Visit aimed to determine the functions and roles of public entities during the emergencies, as well as evaluation of coordination mechanisms.
 
Representatives of ‘112” informed the guests about the emergency management and operation of 112 PSAPs. Guests were made familiar with the functioning of Tbilisi PSAP, as well as specific features of call handling and processing.
 
Within the frames of the visit, US European Command and US Army Civil-Military Emergency Preparedness (CMEP) evaluation delegation conducted meetings with the representatives of Patrol Police, Border Police and Special Tasks Department and discussed their capacities and functions.
