112 Day

In 2009, the European Commission, the European Parliament and the European Council declared February 11 as a day of “112”. More than 80 countries of the world, where “112” operates, celebrate this day with different kinds of events. 

“112” of Georgia actively celebrates this day as well: it carries out various activities in crowded places, plans meetings in schools and universities, conducts contests and information campaigns on social media, TV and radio programs. Each event is aimed at increasing awareness of “112” among the population.
