Ministry of Internal Affairs LEPL – Public Safety Command Center “112” (Later-“Public safety Command Center 112”,” “we,” “us,” “our”) built the 112 Georgia app as a free app. This SERVICE is provided by Ministry of Internal Affairs LEPL – Public Safety Command Center “112” at no cost and is intended for use as is.

Public Safety Command Center ,,112” as a responsible entity for the protection of personal data (controller) knows how important privacy is to our customers, and we strive to be clear about how we collect, use, disclose, transfer your information. If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. 

The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Public Safety Command Center “112” unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

In order to use 112 Georgia app registration is required. For registration it is mandatory to add phone number. While using our service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to the First Name, Last Name, Gender, Birth Date, Additional Contact Number, Address, and Location. Information concerning location is subject to additional consent from the customer. These subsequent consent will be obtained through the same application. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Information is provided to emergency services for emergency notifications made from the application. The exact location and telephone number of the caller will be provided to the emergency services. 

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Purpose of the processing of personal data

The purpose of the processing of personal data is to protect and provide public safety. While contacting Public Safety Command Center ,,112” via application the telephone number used by the caller as well as the exact location information are automatically transmitted to Public Safety Command Center “112”. Application determines the location of the user on the territory of Georgia, which makes services available faster and help more effective. 112 Georgia app makes it possible to contact Public Safety Command Center “112” via SOS button and to chat with an operator. This simplifies the process of contacting 112 when the person in emergency is unable to talk and requires immediate assistance. 

Log Data 

We want to inform you that whenever you use our service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name,  operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our service, the time and date of your use of the service, and other statistics;

112 Georgia app services do not address to persons less than 16 years of age (collectively “minors”).

Protecting the privacy of children is important.  For that reason, Public Safety Command Center ,,112” does not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from minors.  If Public Safety Command Center “112” learns that personally-identifiable information of minors has been collected Public Safety Command Center “112” will take the appropriate steps to delete this information.

If you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor who has registered at 112 Georgia app, then please contact 112@112.ge to have that minor’s account terminated and information deleted.
