About 500 students from public and private schools visited the Public Safety Command Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within the framework of the project – “Increasing the awareness of the emergency number in adolescents”.
Students were introduced to the proper use of an emergency number and road safety rules.
112 representative provided the adolescents with the information regarding the meaning of emergency cases, the number that should be reached in such cases and how to cooperate with the call-takers. The students were also explained the dangers of making a non-targeted call and the sanctions that are envisaged during a false call.
Public Safety Command Center “112” regularly holds similar events with adolescents.
