According to Electronic Communication Networks National Numbering System, since June of the present year single emergency SOS number 1-1-2 has launched in Georgia.
During the transition period the existing emergency numbers, including Patrol Police – 122, Fire Brigade – 111 and Medical – 113 will work together with the single emergency SOS number – 1-1-2.
The emergency services are reachable from both mobile and fixed telephone providers by dialing – 1-1-2.
1-1-2 is reachable even if there is no positive balance on the phone or the mobile phone misses a sim-card.
