On October 22, 2013, at 15:00, at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel, the Emergency Management Center “112” held a presentation of a new service – fire safety systems.

“112” offers fire safety systems standardized by EN 54 to the population, which means equipping the facility with detectors made with modern technologies and / or including the fire system already operating at the facility in the “112” service.

The purpose of these services is to prevent the danger of sparking gas (CO) and fire in the event of a fatal accident.

The service is effective because the system responds before a person senses a threat. The alarm signal automatically enters “112” and the service sends fire-rescue, patrol and ambulance crews in the shortest possible time, which minimizes the time of liquidation of the incident.

At the presentation, Giorgi Bichashvili, Director of the Emergency Management Center, spoke about the reforms implemented in “112” and future plans.

The event was attended by representatives of state structures and private companies.
