Today, in Warsaw, Poland, the annual conference of the Emergency Number Association (EENA) officially opened, which is attended by representatives of the Department of “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The annual conference was opened by the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the European Emergency Number Association (EENA), Demetrios Piros.

“It is important for Georgia” 112 “to participate in the annual conference of the Emergency Number Association (EENA). This year, the Georgian delegation had the advantage of presenting itself to one of the speaker countries before the 44 countries participating in the conference. It should also be noted that a representative stand of “112” of Georgia is placed next to the stands of different countries. The stand will allow the public attending the conference to get acquainted with the promo material and work program (ERC) presented by the Georgian side, in which the operators of “112” work, “- said Demetrios Piros in his opening speech.

The European Emergency Number Association (EENA) is an international non-governmental organization established in 1999 in Brussels. The aim of the Association is to introduce a unified emergency number – 112 throughout Europe and to promote the efficient operation of emergency management services. Since September 3, 2013, “112” of Georgia is a member of this organization.
