The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Rihard Kazlovski visited the Emergency Management Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Minister visited the center and got acquainted with the specifics of the work on the spot.
Representatives of 112 briefed members of the delegation on the changes and future plans made over the past two years at the Emergency Management Center, including the ability to provide 112 text messages to people with disabilities.
The guests were interested in the integrated management model in “112”, where the coordinated work of the emergency services is carried out from the unified center.
At the end of the visit, the director of “112” Giorgi Bichashvili handed over commemorative gifts to the members of the delegation.
