The Austrian delegation paid an official visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, headed by the Head of the Federal Service for Combating Crime, General Franz Lang.
Today, the members of the delegation met with the Minister of Internal Affairs Alexander Chikaidze and other officials of the Ministry.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the details of the implementation of the International Law Coordination Project (ILECU) in Georgia, the implementation of which is actively supported by the Austrian side. The meeting also touched upon state security, the fight against crime and other important issues.
Today, General Franz Lang, Chief of the Austrian Federal Chancellery, visited the Emergency Management Center “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and met with the director of the center Giorgi Bichashvili.
At the meeting, the parties talked about the reforms implemented and planned by “112”. The Head of the Austrian Federal Chancellery and members of the delegation received detailed information on the functioning of the Unified Emergency Number and the 112 Unified Electronic System – Emergency Response Center in Georgia.
The purpose of the visit of the Head of the Austrian Federal Chancellery, General Franz Lang, to “112” is to develop cooperation and share experience in the field of emergency management between the two countries.
