The Minister of Internal Affairs Geka Geladze, together with his deputy Giorgi Sakhokia, visited the Public Safety Command Center 112 on New Year’s Eve.
Geka Geladze, Giorgi Sakhokia and the Director of the Center, Giorgi Arsoshvili, congratulated the employees of 112 on the New Year and thanked them for the conscientious performance of their duties.
Attention was focused on the special role of 112 operators, who receive emergency calls 24/7, throughout Georgia, and promptly transmit received information to the appropriate emergency services.
It is noteworthy that the annual number of calls to the Public Safety Command Center 112 is 4 million, which is a clear proof of continuous and highly responsible activities of the Center.
