Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Geka Geladze, together with Deputy Minister Giorgi Sakhokia, attended the ceremonial event dedicated to 112 Day and congratulated the employees of the Public Safety Command Center on their professional day.
The Minister thanked the employees for their contribution to the effective work of the Center and awarded them with certificates of appreciation for the exemplary performance of their duties.
Geka Geladze emphasized the particularly important role of 112 in ensuring public security and wished all employees of the Center success in their professional activities.
The Director of the Public Safety Command Center -112, Giorgi Arsoshvili, drew attention to the center’s activities and ongoing projects and thanked the leadership of the Ministry for their constant support and cooperation.
As part of the ceremony, Geka Geladze opened the new administrative building of 112, which is fully equipped in accordance with modern standards. The new infrastructure project will significantly improve the working environment of employees, which will positively affect the effectiveness of the center’s future activities.
112 Day is celebrated in Georgia and in over 80 countries around the world.
