The ceremonial event, which was held at the administrative building of the Ministry, was attended by the President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze, Vice Prime Minister, State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies Mamuka Mdinaradze, members of the government, deputies, representatives of the diplomatic corps, heads of various departments and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
At the event, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the President of Georgia, the Prime Minister of Georgia, the Chairman of the Parliament, the Mayor of Tbilisi and the Vice Prime Minister, State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies addressed the police officers, congratulated them on their professional day and thanked them for their daily efforts to maintain order and security in the country.
On the occasion of Police Officer’s Day, the Minister of Internal Affairs awarded employees of various departments with the Ministry’s I and II degree medals – “For Special Merit”, the Ministry’s medal – “For Bravery”, and the Ministry’s medallion – “For Special Merit”.
