Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs LEPL “112” provided detailed information about the unified emergency number operating in Georgia to 3,000 freshmen of Ilia State University.
For two weeks, the students were introduced to the essence and specifics of the Emergency Management Center in the form of a presentation. The young people received information on when to call 112, what information to provide to the operator of 112, what is meant by an emergency and how to act in this situation.
Ilia State University Student Service Center holds introductory meetings at the beginning of each new academic year and provides freshmen with the necessary information about the university or the various services required during the student period. For the first time, the 112 Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in the event.
