On the occasion of Independence Day, the 112 Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs organized an exhibition of equipment and work equipment on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, together with various units of the Ministry.
Emergency Management Center – “112” presented a “GPS tracker”, which will help tourists in Georgia. “GPS tracker”, through the satellite system, determines the exact location of the tourist and sends an alarm signal (so-called “SOS”) to the center. This will provide operative response to emergencies.
“112” presented a unified electronic program in which the operators and dispatchers of the Emergency Management Center work. Also, monitors that control the roads throughout the city and a video about the future, innovative, projects of “112”.
