Within the framework of the information and awareness campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – “Befriend the Police”, this time the public event was held in Ambrolauri, in the vicinity of the House of Culture.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, heads of various departments of the Ministry, State Representative in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Region, Parmen Margvelidze and Mayor of Ambrolauri – Zviad Mkheidze, as well as local government representatives.
All guests who came to the public event had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the activities of the aforementioned units in the spaces represented by the Public Safety Command Center “112”, the Service Agency, the Emergency Situations Management Service, the Patrol Police, the Border Police, the Forensic-Criminalistics Department, the Security Police and the Special Tasks Department.
The guests also viewed the special equipment of the mentioned units. The children who came to the event had the opportunity to participate in various cognitive and entertaining activities with the representatives of the Ministry.
Within the framework of the campaign, in parallel with the public events, the representatives of the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, all over the country, hold information-cognitive meetings with students in schools, where they provide the teenagers with information about relevant topics regarding public order.
