In 2024, over 4000 students from public and private schools visited the “112” Public Safety Command Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as part of the project “Increasing Awareness of the Emergency Number Among Adolescents.”
Representatives from “112” taught the teenagers about the correct use of the emergency number and traffic safety. The students learned what constitutes an emergency, which number to call in such situations, and how to communicate effectively with the “112” operator.
They were also informed about the dangers of making non-targeted calls and the penalties associated with false calls.
