Within the framework of the “Profession Police Officer” campaign, approximately 1,800 students from various schools visited the Public Safety Command Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia between February and June.
During the visits, representatives of 112 conducted educational sessions aimed at enhancing the students’ awareness of road safety and the appropriate use of the emergency number. The participants received detailed information regarding the concept of an emergency, the procedures for contacting emergency services, and the importance of providing accurate information and cooperating effectively with 112 call takers.
Furthermore, the students were informed about the consequences of unintended and false emergency calls. Particular attention was given to the legal responsibilities associated with the misuse of emergency services and the sanctions established by the relevant legislation for making false calls.
