Representatives of 112 Georgia attended annual EENA Conference in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
 
Conference was attended by the representatives of up to 60 countries. The main topics discussed during the conference were modern technologies in the service of emergencies, natural disaster forecasting and early warning systems, smart cities and their role in providing safety, standardized call handling through protocols.
 
Representatives of 112 learned about the experience and future plans of other Emergency Response Center, shared their expertise with the colleagues and planned future cooperation.
 
EENA-European Emergency Number Association is an international non-governmental organization created in 1999 in Brussels. The aim of the association is to introduce single emergency number 112 throughout Europe and to support effective functioning of emergency response centers. EENA has been conducting international conferences annually since 2008.
 
Georgia has been official and full-fledged member of EENA since September 3, 2013.
