Emergency Response Center “112” of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia hosted the students of International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University (ISET).
The main topic of the meeting was “Utilization of Digital and Modern Technologies during Emergency Response and Crisis Management”
Representatives of 112 talked about existing innovative and modern technology oriented projects, including Mobile Application, which connects the citizen to the 112 call taker immediately and automatically determines the location of the SOS alarm sender.
Guests were also informed about the SMS and Video Call service, which enables the deaf and hearing impaired persons to independently contact emergency response center 112. Representative of 112 made the students familiar with the planned modern and innovative projects.
Within the frames of the visit, guests were informed about the work of the call takers and dispatchers, as well as received receiving and processing incoming calls.
