Public Safety Command Center 112 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs awarded four minors with the title of “Hero of 112”. Awarded children timely placed calls to 112 in the most critical situations.
Barbare Basharuli, 12 years old – Barbare called 112 from village Karaleti to help her grandfather, who got stuck under the ladder. Barbare immediately called an ambulance to help him.
Ana Mamatsashvili, 7 years old – Anna called 112 to help her grandmother, she explained the situation in details to 112 call-taker and gave the accurate home address as well as information about the condition of her grandmother.
Nia Nikolaishvili, 11 years old – Nia was alone at home with her grandmother, when her grandmother got sick. Without confusion, Nia dialed 112, gave the exact address to 112 call-taker and requested the assistance of ambulance.
Irakli Anchabadze, 14 years old – Irakli called 112 to help a stranger, who lost consciousness on the street
The project “Hero of 112” has been implemented since 2016. As part of the project, every year 112 awards minors who display high civic consciousness and are well aware of how to act during the emergencies.
