TOW TRUCK SERVICE

The tow truck service was introduced by 112 in 2014. Any citizen in Tbilisi can use the service by calling 112.

The service meets modern standards. 112 has the appropriate equipment and facilities, ensuring a rapid and effective response.

Along with the effective provision of the service, particular attention is paid to the safety of vehicles. For this purpose, designated impound lots have been established. These lots are protected against unauthorized access by third parties and are equipped with 24-hour surveillance cameras, protective fencing, and the relevant infrastructure.

The tow truck service is important for the timely and safe transportation of temporarily seized motor vehicles to impound lots in cases provided by administrative and criminal legislation.

Documents Required to Remove a Vehicle from an Impound Lot:

  • A permit issued by the Unified Service Center (Division) of the Patrol Police Department or by the authority conducting the criminal case;
  • An identity document;
  •  A document confirming ownership or lawful possession of the vehicle (power of attorney).
